Information on Today's Good News
There is ample media attention to the bad, ugly, perverted, and the horrific. If a person wants to hear about how bad the economy is; the killing of innocent people throughout the world; natural disasters; all they have to do is turn on the radio, watch TV, or just hop on the Internet. Today's Good News is an alternative to the negative media. It was started to let people know that in the midst of the negative news there is also good news. News about people helping people, amazing escapes from tragedies, miraculous rescues, and supernatural healings/miracles. It is our goal to inspire our readers and to give them hope in these troubled times. If you are overwhelmed by the bad news, then Today's Good News will be a breath of fresh air for you.
It should be noted that Today's Good News is not about “prettying” up the bad news. Often the positive and negative go hand in hand in a news story. Also, the reality is that the world is not getting better, but worse. No mater how much good news we share, there will always be more bad news.
Speaking of bad news, there is bad news that the media will never mention-it is the bad news that without Jesus Christ in your life,
you are heading towards an eternity in hell. This bad news is much worse than anything that can happen in this world. The truth, evidenced by all the bad
news around us, is that man is born with a sinful nature-For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23
The ultimate consequence of sin is death-seperation from God
and His love.
Now that you have heard about the bad news, we have some excellent good news. The good news is that God has provided a way out of the
law of sin and death. He has made a way for each person to spend eternity in heaven where there are no tears, sorrow, or pain. The solution to the sin issue is for a person to:
1. Admit that you are a sinner in need of God.
2. Believe died and rose again for your sins.
3. Confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life.
The following prayer is one you can say right now to confess Jesus as Lord and ask Him to save you from hell:
Dear God, I admit I am a sinner in need of You. Please forgive me of my sins and give me abundant life here on earth and eternal life with You in heaven. I believe Jesus died and rose again for my sins. I confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Becoming a Christian does not guarantee on this earth a life of no pain or sorrow. In fact the Bible teaches in Matthew 5:45
.. .God gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.
However with Jesus Christ as your Lord and
Savior, God will give you the strength, ability, and wisdom to face hardships.

It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.-James 3:17
